SurvivorScotland oversees the National Strategy for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Childhood sexual abuse happens to women and men from all backgrounds and walks of life. Most of us know someone who has been abused whether we realise it or not.

SurvivorScotland, developed by the Scottish Government, aims to raise awareness of childhood sexual abuse and its long term consequences improve services and enhance the health and wellbeing of survivors. To do this we help organisations conduct research, collect data on the effects of abuse and share best practice on the best approach for recovery.

We hope that this site will provide helpful information if you have been affected by child abuse in any way.
